No food served on International Continental flight??!!
Hi there,
I was just browsing through airfares on the continental website and found a flight flying from IAH to CDG (6:30pm - 10:45am). This leg of the flight showed that there was no meal service. Is this a mistake???
The returning flight CDG to IAH (12:55pm - ??2pm (not sure) did note that lunch would be served.

I would think so...I took a Continental flight from Newark to London earlier this month and we were served snacks, then dinner, then a breakfast. The drinks cart (I just had mineral water) was rolled up and down the aisles several times.
On my flight from Paris to Newark, there was also a full meal served (and snacks and drinks).

I've noticed that several times there hasn't been meal service shown for my trans-Atlantic flights on on airline's website or on the itinerary they send me. But they've always served meals nonetheless. (Maybe their software just don't have space to list more than one meal, and in the face of "dinner and breakfast" they just give up. ;-) )

Don't worry. You'll get meal service. Whether that qualifies as "food", though, is questionable.
Took the same flight back in March. What's interesting is that while the menu is similar, the food prepared by the Paris catering service was much better than that from Houston.
