I would appreciate any information or recommendations on any of these resorts in Bali. Rest and relaxation are key, but would like to experience the culture of the island as well. Thanks!

Any of the resorts you name are wonderful - although I have not stayed at any of them...I have seen the grounds - beautiful!! They are however "insulated" from the real Bali - to experience that you will have to travel outside their protective boundaries. Expect to be hassled by vendors, approached with questions like "where you come from ?" and "transport?" If you can get away from the "tourist" areas you will find a different Bali entirely one worth exploring! Good Luck!

Aman but the best in the region, to experience the "local" you can do that easily throughout the island but unless you wish to sleep in one star accomodation you are not going to experience what the locals experience in the hotel mentioned.
