BKK storing luggage????

isit possible to store luggage at the BKK airport. We don't need to take EVERYTHING to Siem Reap for 2 days. If so, which terminal, how safe is it and what are the details. thank you, again. Jan

There are safe luggage storage facilities at the airport. When I last stored luggage, it was 70 baht per piece per day.

Kathie, there are two terminals, right? how much time does it take to walk between one and the other to pickup stored luggage? Can you store in both terminals? We are going to go to the airport to fly to chiang Mai (that is when we'd store bags) and wouldn't pick them up until 10 days later when we arrive BKK from LPB and have a 2+ hour layover before flying out to SIN. thanks for the help. PS: my daughter wants to store her back pack (large kind with frame). Do the lockers hold bags this size? jk

There are luggage storage facilities at both terminals. These are attended luggage facilities (open 24 hours a day) rather than lockers, so size of her backpack won't matter.

If you are staying at a hotel in Bangkok and returning to that same hotel after your time in CM and Cambodia, it would be cheaper to store your luggage at the hotel.

Kathie: what is the degree of difficulty walking between one terminal and the other? I guess we should store our things at our next outgoing terminal incase flights are delayed? Not staying at same hotel, but rather, one closer to airport. decided to try Sofitel central Plaza at $69 @ precisionreservations.com (will post afterwards.)
