From what I just read on the website for the Canada consulate in Hong Kong, Canada no longer allows additional pages to be added to passports. Take a look at http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/world/e...estions-en.asp
It says" Effective January 04, 2005, we are no longer permitted to add visa pages to passports which have been filled with visa stamps. When your current passport has run out of visa pages, you must apply for a new passport."
You might want to confirm this with the proper ministry in Canada.
If I am wrong and Canada does indeed permit you to add pages, and you want to do this when you are in Asia, I would go to the Canadian embassy/consulate in whatever large city in Asia is first or second on your itinerary and/or where you have more than 1-2 days (you don't want to waste time in an embassy). There is generally a special unit for citizen's services, one of these is providing new passports and adding pages (I extrapolate from services provided by US embassies). This can usually be done while you wait. Take a look at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/offices/missions.html for a list of Canadian embassies and high commissions worldwide.

What Cicerone wrote is correct.
I assume by the OP that you are currently in Asia, and need the extra pages before you return to Canada. In that case you will have to deal with a Consulate in your area of Asia. They will make up a new Passport for you. From personnal experience it is a couple of days wait as well. I remember you can pay more for a quicker turnaround but I don't think it can be done while you wait.
My wife had a similiar but not the exact same scenario and actually we had a bit of problem getting a new passport since she had more than 6 months remaining on the current passport but they eventually did issue a new passport(what were we to do if they refused to!).

Not that it helps now, but when you apply for your passport you can pay a bit more ($5-10?) and get one with more pages. If you travel a lot, it is definitely the way to go to avoid having to apply for a new one before it expires.
