No, I didn't use the nancy chandler map. We just started wandering around and came upon maps that the market provides. Plus, we had been there the previous year and remembered certain sections we liked.
We bought our painting from an artist named Sittichai purakam. His booth is in Section 7 Soi 6 of the market. Honestly, he had some exquisite paintings. Just to give you a baseline, I pad $375 for my painting. It's one of the most unique things I've ever bought. Check it out, and let me know what you thought!

sjl---the nite market is called suan lum or something similar...it is at the corner of wireless rd and rama IV...there is a subway stop right in front of it and the lumpini park is across the street...best to go 6-10PM
