Lion's Head Mountain
I can't seem to find any recent information on this area. Last information I saw said that the shuttle bus service up to top of mountain has been eliminated. Can any one confirm this. Also, any information on getting there from Taipei would be appreciated. Seems like quite a long day, wondering if it's worth it. From the pictures the temple looks awesome. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi~I've never visited there, but I'm a Taiwanese. I browsed some websites to check the transportation information. And I think you can still arrive there by bus. Due to the information of Tourism Bureau, tourists can arrive there by bus. And if you want to know spend some time to visit there is a good decision or not, you can browse this website, some tourists leave their comments.
To be honest, the place is far away from Taipei, so I'm not highly interested.

Lion's Head Mountain
As mentioned above, you could get off one of these buses and walk about 30 minutes to reach the Miaoli side of Lion's Head Mountain, or walk from Lion's Head Mountain to Nanzhuang (3.5km) in about one hour.
