rhkkmk is mixed up as the Paradise is quite a distance from the hotel he stayed at. It is the Tropicana that is next and has good meals.

The Koh Chang Paradise Resort is made up of around 30 salmon pink bungalows around a their pool and seafood restaurant. They are of good size, clean and not too close to each other. The beach is not bad and is kept clean and there is a small shopping plaza nearby to purchase small supplies. It is a family type place and there could be a number of kids if that matters. Off season rates from around $67-79
door.

My wife and I stayed at the Amari in December 2005. We had a really good time at the resort. The food and service was excellent. The beach is not the greatest but the pool is enormous.

I don't think you would be disappointed if you booked there.

we did not stay there but went a few times to eat and it is the best on the island....
the beach is limited but the pool area is huge and there is a nice lounging area under the palms at seaside...

i would stay there next time...
