If you are speaking strictly of Canadian Universities, the University of <BR>Alberta in Canada, the University of BC in Victoria, and McGill U. in Montreal are well known. The University of Calgary is also a good place. I am sure that other Canadian colleges and universities are quite reputable, but I am a little more familiar with the ones I have named. Of course, which field are you interested in? That has a major bearing on where you go. If you want a good university in the USA that is a good buy for the money, the University of Georgia is outstanding, particularly the Terry College of Business. I am a little biased in that regard, obviously, but the MIS department is one of the top programs in the USA. If you are interested in that field, a top Canadian school is the University of Waterloo. <BR> <BR>

The University of Toronto is supposed to be pretty good too, and I think you would find Toronto to be a fun place to live if you like big cities. A lot is going to depend on your academic interests as to which is the best school.

The University of Alberta is in Edmonton. The University of British Columbia is not in Victoria, but is in Vancouver. McGill is, however, in Montreal. <BR>BAK <BR>

Hi Christy: <BR> <BR>It really depends on the type of degree that you want as to where you go. In Toronto there are two universities: <BR>York and University of Toronto. U of T tends to be a lttle more snobby but has a medical school and law school. York is great for the arts, phys-ed and humanities. In Kingston, about 2 1/2 hours outside of Toronto is Queens University. Hamilton, 50 mins. outside of Toronto has McMaster and London 3 hours away has Western. All are good universities that grant degrees. I don't know what the fees are like for international students but you could probably check each university's web site. I attended York for my undergrad, Queens for Teacher's College and McMaster for a second degree. <BR>Good luck!
