Christmas(y) activities in Vancouver —-do tickets usually sell out in advance
We’ll be in Vancouver about a week or so before Christmas and planning to do many of the Christmas light themed activities like Capilano Bridge/Lights, Stanley Park and Van Dusen Gardens. Do tickets for those generally sell out? My guess is yes and especially post pandemic but would love to hear from those who know. We’ll hit the German Christmas market also, I’m sure.
are we missing anything?

I don't think they sell out. I've attended both Canyon Lights and VanDusen's Christmas lights pre-pandemic and they never sold out then, they let as many people in as possible, but that could have changed. I attended the German Christmas Market last year during the pandemic and had to wait in line to buy tickets, but it wasn't sold out. Buying in advance is cheaper, however.
Those are the big Christmas events. None I can think to add. There will be of course Christmas theatre productions, Christmas concerts by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Christmas displays in the malls and department stores, in the hotel lobbies, etc. Lots of smaller scale events happening all around town, but those four are the big Christmas attractions. Canyon Lights is really well done, and the German Christmas market is, well... it's fun, but you wait in line and spend money to get inside the fence and wait in more lines to spend money. I still enjoyed it, but set expectations ahead of time.
