The "loosely composed organizing committee" has created a second thread for this gtg with more details. If interested, you are encouraged to view that thread.

ahmedhaff - I believe you have found the thread that related to the 2009 GTG (which, by the way, was wonderful). To date there has been no activity to create a chance to connect in 2010. Your enthusiasm is appreciated.
Is there anyone else who would be willing to invest in an evening of scintillating conversation with others who share your passion for travel (or at least are talking about it).

BAK - good to see your voice again. Shall we get the ball rolling? What meets your needs? Late August (like 2008) or mid to late September (like 2009) or are there other better suggestions?

Well, not on Sept. 31! However, there is a vague possibility - I don't want to commit to anything now, because I don't know exactly when I'll be in Toronto. It would certainly be lovely to meet everybody, though. It sounds as if you guys have a lot of fun at these GTGs.
