Help me please my wife

My wife would like to take a tour of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island
et al during mid May 2001. She wants us to go with an organized tour group. Questions: 1. Is it to cold to vist that part of Canada at that time of year, and 2. What tour group/s would you recommend if any(Is Elderhostel an alternative?) Thank you so much for your help.

What do you consider cold? Would you go to northern Maine in mid May?
I see no reason to go with a tour.
You can learn about the place before you go and seek your own points of interest.
We flew to Boston, rented a car, and drove up.
Of course, I am not the type who likes to be hauled around like a sack of wheat. I can develop my own ideas.

Hi there,

I am originally from the East coast of Canada. May is lovely because there are fewer tourists visiting and most of the tourist "traps" are not yet operating. It is "sweater" weather most days, and a good rain coat will come in handy. I would suggest that you visit www.gov.pe.ca and www.gov.ns.ca for more info on those two provinces. As to a tour, it depends on your travelling style. However if you don't mind driving, the traffic and roads are very easy to deal with, and you will probably get to see more of the interesting corners than you would on a tour. Have fun!
For Al Godon

I tried to send you a personal email, but my email was returned "address unknown". In any event if you happen to come back to this posting again I would like to ask you....Do you ever consider that some people may not be physically able to enjoy traveling without the use of a tour group. Some people don't have the ability to do the things that superior people like you can do by yourself. Being able to come up with one's own ideas is certainly not indicative of one's understanding and compassion as you so vividly demonstrate.

Hmm. I was not intentionally out to ruffle feathers. I stated that I was the one who did not like being hauled around. glad to know I am superior.
Being that I suffer from several severe physical problems, arthritis and spinal scoliosis and night blindness, it is a good thing I am superior or I would be in a heck of a fix.

You really though cottonseed.com was for real? Particularly when used by a guy named Al Godon??
