Rentals in the Maritimes
Planning a trip to Nova Scotia or Newfoundland for the month of August. Would like to rent a quiet (and reasonable) flat or cottage with lots of character, beautiful scenery, close to the sea, and easy access to a nice town. Any suggestions to narrow the search?

check out www.herald.ns.ca site. It is the local Nova Scotian newspaper. Along the left hand side you will see classifieds and hit rentals. Narrow your search for cottages. Northumberland Strait has the warmest beaches of Nova Scotia! It is in the "centre" of the Province.

good luck and hope you enjoy our beautiful Province!

I stayed at the Quarterdeck Condos. Very modern and right on a sandy beach. Very close to several quaint towns - Mahone Bay, Liverpool Bridgewater. Two level with decks off the bedrooms overlooking the ocean. Great restaurant. They have a web site with a few pics. Prices are a little high but worth it.
