Toronto Pubs
I'll be in Toronto on business and looking for a good pub or sports bar near the St. Lawrence Market to watch the Sabres/Leafs game on Tuesday night. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

If you're looking for a good cross-section of beers to choose from in the area, you'd be hard pressed to beat C'est What which is just west along Front Street

If the weather's nice when you're here, a block east on Front is another option, The jersey Giant which has a street-level patio to enjoy the people-watching

I've been to both and figured I couldn't go wrong at either. Just want to make sure it is a semi-friendly crowd to a Sabres fan! Location wise, walking distance from the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts?

C'est What'd be closer; about 300m vs 600 from the St. Lawrence Centre. Not far in either case.
Can't speak to the friendliness to Sabres fans but given that the Leafs haven't won a Stanley Cup in 44 years and (IIRC because I'm not a hockey fiend) they're spitting distance from working on their golf games again, I shouldn't be too concerned.
