We LOVED Inn at Laurel Point in the Erickson Wing. The views and location of the outer harbor are very peaceful and romantic. We enjoyed having the contrast of fabulous city views in Vancouver to a more scenic setting.

A friend of ours stayed at Laurel Point and loved it. You might also check out the Royal Scot - not as luxurious, I don't think, but it's well-located and I believe all or most of the rooms are suites.

Hey boards, I'm back. How do we get from Victoria back to Vancouver?
We are planning on doing the prince of whales whale watching tour from Vancouver to Victoria, then spend the night and next day in Victoria. We'd like to leave Victoria in the evening.
Prince of Whales does offer another shuttle from Buchart Gardens back to downtown Vancouver for $80 each. But that does not include admission to Buchart (I saw on other posters how we can do that for cheaper if we decide to do it in the first place.)
Any advice would be so helpful!

The easiest way would be the ferry from Swartz Bay to Tsawwasssen. I can't remember if you said you will have a rental car or not - if not, you can get a Pacific Coach Lines bus from downtown Victoria that will go on to the ferry and then take you right into downtown Vancouver.
