A couple of years ago we did a tour of the larger eastern Canada cities. Love them all, but have always wanted to go back to Ottawa, especially in the fall. It is a beautiful city, lots to do...Parliament, museum of western civilization (across the river)...there is a restaurant at the museum with beautiful city views at night, be sure and take a walk or boat trip down the Rideau Canal. Easy city to navigate. We walked nearly everywhere. Stayed at the Lord Elgin, great location.
