Hawaii, Tahiti, Puket Island, Mexican Riviera...stay away from the Caribbean until the mid of October.

You should also know that nearly all of the resorts & restaurants in Anguilla shut down for September & much of October.

Maybe Bermuda is less dicey for hurricanes. We honeymooned there beginning of October w/o too much risk, it was lovely, although not hot.

As others have said September is peak hurricane season in the Caribbean and while you can never know exactly when a storm will form it is worth the risk for your Honeymoon. Besides just about everything on Anguilla is closed during September and early October. If you want to go to the Caribbean during September think about Aruba, Bonaire or Curacao (they are very far south and are considered relatively safe from major hurricanes). Keep in mind that any tropical area in the northern hemisphere is subject to tropical storms in September and October so you might want to consider postponing your trip for a few weeks or going to someplace like Tahiti, Fiji, Seyscheles, etc.
