Could someone tell me which restaurants are best at Sandals?

Hi: We have booked the Sandals Inn in Montego Bay. We are in are early 40's and celebrating our 20th Anniversary. my husband as even arranged for a renewal of our vows. I was hoping someone could suggest which restaurants at either Sandals Montego Bay of Royal Caribbean are better than others, there are so many choices. Are there any near by sights that we should make sure to see, although it looks the resorts will be hard to leave. thanks for any ideas or suggestions, Karen <BR>

have been to dunns river (International Restaurant is excellent and so is Amore Italian Rest.). Have heard the Japanese rest. at Mobay is nice. The Japanese rest. at Royal Jamaican apparently had a fire a few months ago. Check with travel agent.

hi karen,my husband and i have been to sandals montego bay 3 times and loved it.probably the most romantic restaurant at sandals is the oleander room.white glove service.we were there for our 10th anniversary and my husband asked if he could buy a bottle of champagne but they wouldn't hear of it they insisted on giving us a bottle.the food there has a jamaican flair.there also is a restaurant at the royal caribbean sandals that has a restaurant out on a private island that you have to take the boat.it looked really nice but we ran out of time and didn't eat there.if i may give you a tip, make all your dinner reservations for your nights as soon as you check in as they all get booked quickly.if you have any other questions, feel free to e-mail me

I have heard that the Bali Hai (the restaurant on the "Private island " at Sandals Royal Caribbean) is teriffic. That is definately in our list of places to go when we visit Jamaica in February! I did, however, hear that they had a fire there recently but that they should be open again by the time we arrive. We are crossing our fingers!!!

The Bali Hai restauraunt is nice just for the experience. You take the little boat over to the island. You are then greeted at the door and the men get a sash tied around them. Each course is begun with the sound of a gong. It's different and fun. We were not crazy about the food it was very spicey. The people at our table about 8 felt the same way. I'm still glad we got to see what it was all about. We stayed at Montego Bay are favorite was The Terrace restauraunt they called it something different when we were there, but we were very happy with this restauraunt. We also heard the French Restauraunt at Sandals Inn was great ,but we didn't make it there. You will have a great time!!

We have been to Mobay once and Royal twice and are going in April again. The best restaurants are Toyko Joe's and Cucina Romona at SMB and Bali Hai at SRC. Make reservations as soon as you get there. Have not been to SI but I'm sure the food is great.
