Curacao Hilton or Marriott??

Which hotel do you recommend? Hilton or Marriott on Curacao. We will probably rent car to get to best snorkeling spots.

Marriott, hands down! Best snorkeling we found was right off the beach at the marriott.

singerlady: Have you looked at the reviews of the Hilton/Marriott on trip advisor? Both hotels get good, helpful reviews.
From all my research, the prevailing opinion is that the Marriott is the better hotel with better snorkeling. However, the Hilton is right next to it so you could always walk over. The Hilton also appears to be more child-friendly i.e. great pools (in case you're traveling with kids) and cheaper. Whatever works best for you, I say.
We're going in 2 weeks and 4 days, but who's counting
Enjoy whenever you go.

We stayed at the Marriott a couple years ago. Nice Hotel and great restaurant. The beach and pool area were nice also. We did visit the Hilton for lunch one day. It seemed alright. Saw very few people at the hotel/pool area. Not sure why. Their restaurant was empty and the service VERY slow even though we were the only ones there. Overall the Marriott seemed nicer. Though the Hilton did not seem too shabby either. Hope this helps.

We don't have children, and there were not a lot of them at the Marriott, so for US that's a plus. The Mariott has some great restuarants when you just don't feel like going too far to eat, including the Champagne brunch. The pool area is very exotic and elegant. Other people that stayed at the Hilton said they were tempted to stay at the Marriott the next time.
