Ever flown Cayman Airways?

Has anyone ever flown Cayman Airways from the US to Grand Cayman? I found a per person rate that's $200 less than the "major" airlines. While I'm pleased with the potential savings, I just want to be sure that I won't regret not going with a "major" airline. Thanks.

We flew Cayman Airways on our trip in November, 2003. We had a direct flight from Houston to GC. No problems with boarding, flights were on time coming and returning. No fluff though. It was approx. a 3 hour flight so just drinks/sodas. Reminded me of charters we've taken to Mexico, but much less crowded. Would definatly fly with them again. They are much cheaper than the major airlines.

HowardC... on that route, you would be talking about Air Jamaica, but we Caymanians will forgive you for the confusion

Cayman Airways is just fine... these days they have better schedules than the US airlines to Cayman and (as noted) great rates.

Couple of hints :
- Cayman Airways (code KX) flies from Houston, Miami, Tampa, Chicago, Boston and also Fort Lauderdale. If you can get a low cost carrier to Fort Lauderdale, that can be a great option for saving money.
- Check www.caymanairways.com often for great web only specials.
