Grand Cayman Trip Photos 10/05
Finally finished uploading all my digital photos from our trip to GC in Sept/Oct and thought some might like to see some recent photos of the island. Here's a link...

Loved the photos.
Have any of the northside, [Cayman Kai] other than Rum Point? I'd love to see them. Became a first time grammy this year and missed our annual trip.
Thank you for sharing.
Christie, your trip is going to be great.

That's about all the photos that I have from that trip. Normally I take tons of photos but I guess it's just so relaxing there I kind of forgot to take more. I loved those new homes with the hot pink and blue paint. There was one spot on our way to Rum Point where there was still a lot of sand on both sides of the road. That side of the island has taken longer for hurricane repairs. From what I heard they really stepped it up on the 7MB side since most of the tourism is there. It might be weird to say this but it was almost eerily beautiful in some places to see the remaning hurricane damage. I kind of like that photo of Rum Point looking totally relaxing with a uprooted tree in it. Things were really starting to get green again when we were there and the Island is still going strong. Definitly take a look at the Hurricane Ivan book while you are there. I couldn't believe some of those photos.

It will still be great. They have done a great job recovering and by now I imagine many of the trees are coming back. The water still looks just as pretty as ever! They have that commercial for Caymans that says it's like your home away from home and it really does feel like that.
