Harbour Island
I have read that there is 3 hotels on the pink sand beach.
1. Pink Sand
2. Coral Sand
What is the 3rd hotel?
Do you have any comments on all 3?
$600 w/tax might be to high for me at Pink Sands! Thanks

There are several hotels on the island and you can find a room at one of the smaller hotels for $100 a night and some are even a bit less.
Some of the nicer places to stay include The Rock House (brand new, and one of the most upscale in the carribean now), Pink Sands, Coral Sands, Dunsmore Beach Club, Romora Bay, The Landing and Bahama House. I am not sure if Valentine's is open, there was a fire there a year or so ago, so I don't know if any rooms are still being rented out. There are also a couple of motelish places to stay, but can't remember the names.
Check with www.briland.com for more information.

Several of the major airlines fly into Nassau and there are flights out of Florida (Miami and Ft. Lauderdale) that can get you directly into N. Eleutehra airport.
Check with Continental, US Air and Delta for prices.
The other option is to fly into Nassau and either take Bahamas Air into N. Eleuthera Airport or take the BoHengy, (www.bahamasfastferries.com). The ferry is about a 2 hour ride and the flight from Nassau into N. Eleuthera is about 15 minutes. The cost is just about the same, taking Bahamas Air or the ferry.
Hope that helps.
