Has anyone been to The Bushiri Resort, The Marriott or The Bucati Resort??

HELP! I NEED TO DECIDE SOOOONN!!!!
I am torn between these three places for my honeymoon in September.
The Bushiri is all-inclusive and the least expensive, but what kind of beach is it on and what kind of hotel is it?
The Bucati looks nice but I can't tell much else about the beach or rooms.
I work for Marriott and may be able to get a good deal (about the same cost as the two others) but it seems like a large type of casino/hotel.

Thank You all So Much!!

My wife and I were in Aruba for a week in 1993, staying at La Cabana. We are returning this July and have just booked at the Marriott after an extensive review of trip reports, travel agent queries and other research (Planning the trip is much of the fun for me). For your consideration: The Hyatt and the Marriott are generally regarded as the two premier hotels- the Hyatt's pool area and grounds are awesome and have a (slight) edge over Marriott but their rooms are small. Marriott's rooms are supposedly 500 sq. ft. (BIG!) with nice balconies also. The Hyatt is situated amongst other bigger hotels whereas the Marriott sits on the north end of Palm beach a few hundred yards removed from the "row" of other hotels. Hence, a less crowded beach but a farther walk to other hotel/casinos. I seriously considered the Bucuti- low rise, European clientele, VERY wide beach and less expensive. I'd say go for the Marriott, especially if you can work a deal w/ them.

I agree with Ken. The Marriott is a lovely hotel and although it is close enough to the action, you are a bit more secluded. Forget Bushiri. The Bucuti Resort is small and in a quieter area but on a fabulous beach with more personal attention. Personally, I liked the "buzz" of being on Palm Beach and the Marriott is a beautiful hotel.

Definitely not the Bushiri. The Bucuti is a pretty Spanish villa on a gorgeaous beach, but in a quiet area. Marriott is on Palm Beach, so it is a more crowded and touristy area. Bucuti gives more personal attention, Marriott is a typrical 5-star luxury high-rise.

Scroll down to read my trip report here, "Just Got Back from Aruba - Any Questions". Lots of good advice and discussions. E-mail me with any questions. I was all over Aruba when we went, so have found out a lot. My parents stayed at the Hyatt and loved it there. Also a 5-star, high-rise - closer to a lot more than the Marriott, but also more expensive.
Bucuti, Bucuti, Bucuti

Nicest beach in Aruba, less crowded. Great hotel with personal attention. If you want to go to the casinos, take a cab. The only thing that the others have is awesome pools, but in my mind the beach at Bucuti more than overcompensates. Staff is friendly, there are only 50 rooms so you will get to know your concierge. You will feel like a guest, not a number. The rooms are simple, clean and adequate, but not luxurious. When I was in Aruba I spent so little time in the room, I was happy that I had the nicest beach, the friendliest staff, and was away from the busy high rise hotel and casino area. This is a preference call.

Stayed at the Bushiri in Feb. and had a wonderful time. The beach is lovely. All the other hotels we walked to were packed with hundreds of rooms. The Bushiri is small, clean, good drinks and food. If you want a packed beach it is not for you. Any questions email me...

My husband and I were looking into Aruba a few months ago. We only stay at all-inclusives, since they offer the best value for your money. My travel agent was totally against the Bushiri. She told me that the island sewer treatment plant and/or land fill was near by. We definitely crossed that idea out. She recommended the Allegro Resort which is also an all-inclusive. We are going next year.
