HAS ANYONE RECENTLY STAYED AT GROTTO BAY OR HARMONY CLUB?

We just noticed some specials from Boston for the two above hotels (that seem to be in our price range). Would love to hear about either or both if you have comments to share. The Harmony Club is offering an all inclusive package.

We are also considering taking along our 3 year old.

Thanks for the help!

Both places are very nice with probably only 2 differencies: Harmony is nice in that it is centrally located and has the all-inclusive policy. Grotto Bay is right near the airport, at the eastern end of the island. It has its own beach and a neat cave; the Swizzle Inn bar and restaurant is just up the hill, as is the Bailey's Ice Cream Parlour; and the Crystal Caves is just around the corner and so is the Perfume Factory. It will be a 5 minute ride to St. Georges but about 20 minutes to Hamilton. It's also an hour away from Dockyard, although you can catch a ferry, from Hamilton, and enjoy a relaxing and scenic ride from there.

I am sure that I read the Grotto has problems with roaches. There were several comments from guests I think under Fodor's rants and raves. I was considering staying there and then read this. I have been to Bermuda once only and stayed at the Ariel Sands and it was fine. I have heard that Harmony Club is amazing from several people.

I haven't been to Bermuda yet, but I did check out the Harmony Bay website and it definitely says guests must be over 18.
