Hyatt Hacienda del Mar
What is this property like? We are considering a timeshare exchange.. is it nice or is it starting to get dated.... I also understand that we would have full use of the faciltieis at the neighboring Hyatt Dorodo....
What are the beaches like in the area of PR? What would be the best three golf courses to go to...
Thanks
Lori

I am an owner at HDM. We have also traded to several other II five-star timeshare and I can honestly say that HDM has been the best overall. Most of the units were completed in the last 3 - 4 years and they are not dated. There are four golf courses on site -- the Dorado ones are the best. It's very family oriented so if you are going with kids they will love it, if going alone you might want to spent time at the Hyatt Dorado beaches as it is a much quieter property. The timeshares are now selling for quite a bit more than the initial cost, I understand they are really in demand. I don't think you will be disappointed in your choice. At least five restaurants, casino, Camp Hyatt, several beaches and pools, including the "world's longest river pool" and a great water slide, bicycling, water sports, miniature golf, all on site. Units are large and have everything you might need.

Eileen,
Thank you... I think it's a good choice - we are spending a week at the Hyatt in PR then continuing on to Turks and Caicos for a week...
An suggestions on a couple good golf coursese? Any suggestions on sun-set sails? We are looking more to golf on PR and do the "water stuff" in Turks.... suggestions for good restaurants.... some nice one and some more casual, cheaper ones? Does the resort arrange trips to the rain forest and into Old San Suan?
Thank you so much for your help.
Regards,
Lori

Unless you have a rental car all your activities, unless you take an organized tour, will be confined to the grounds of the
time share and the Dorado. Tours can be arranged for on site. Any sunset sails would be out of San Juan. One of the best golf courses on the island is at the Dorado. There are four courses to choose from.

They are spacious -- 2 br, 2 bath, 2 balconies, probably about 900 sq feet. All the units have a ocean view, but the lower floors may be blocked by foliage -- we were on the 5th and had a great view, anything above 3rd floor is probably good.
