Jamaica travel docs for kids

I heard it was much easier to process thru Jamaica with passports rather than birth certifs, so I got my kids passports; but I've read in several places they need a passport plus photo ID..is this true? and what kind of photo ID's would four and six year olds use?! Please advise.

Check with your travel agent for questions like this as this is their area of expertise.

All you need is a passport. I am positive- I've been there at least 5 times with my kids. Even for adults- it is the same

Are you Canadian or American? I know for Canadians, anyone under the age of 16, can travel with a birth certificate, no photo id required. Anyone over 16, requires either a passport or birth certificate with a photo id.
