Hi Tina! I am considering the Catalonia and the Paradisus. I have 3 questions:
1)Was there enough hot water to take baths?
2) What water sports were available for free and which were available, but at an additional cost?
3) I've read that they have 4-5 restaurants...can you describe what was served in the ones you visited? Was it hard to get reservations at the a-la carte ones?

Thanks for any information that you can provide!

Parrot Mom: I was at the Paradisus so I can't answer any questions about the Catalonia but I'd like to answer your general questions (especially since you were so helpful with your advice prior to my trip). We did not find it buggy at all. Maybe it's just the time of year because I've read where people had problems at other times. No sand fleas, mosquitos, bees etc. At night it was very comfortable. We had been told to bring light sweaters but never used them. Couldn't hurt to bring a shawl just to wrap around your shoulders. Hope all is well and that you (finally) have a great trip.
