nassau cruise..What to do?

Ill be going on a cruise and the port is Nassau. What can I do on my own? We like to sit by beach near a restaurant if possible..or should I do Atlantis beach day, which includes beach and aquarium. Thank you

My friend did a day pass at a Hilton that was walking distance from the ships. I think half of what they paid per adult they actually got as a food/drink credit. i think they really liked it! We did an excursion to a place called Blue Lagoon which was insanely crowded and not really enjoyable.

It's really a shame to pass up the opportunity to go snorkeling. I mean, a beach is a beach. I did a great trip where they took a small group of us out on a catamaran. Other than that, the taxi to Atlantis is cheap, and many people enjoy the day pass there.
