Negril - Couples for 20th Anniv.

My husband and I are celbrating our 20th and thinking about heading to Negril in March. We spent a glourious week at Sandals Negril 3 years ago, thought about returning but decided to try something different. Any info. out there? We are looking for a relaxing, stressless week with sun on our faces, sand between our toes, great food and drink and a romantic atmosphere. Would appreciate any information!

TX Gab

We loved Grand Lido Negril. It is a bit mroe laid back then Sandals, a more mature atmosphere (but not meaning older!), excellent food and service, beautiful/more grand rooms and nice beach. Loved the yacht for sunset cruises.

Thanks for all you replies, I think we are sold on Couples Negril. What are the rooms like? Do they all have patios or balconies? What are the retaurant choices? How do we need to dress at night?

TX Gab

the ground floor rooms have patios, the suites have hammocks also. The upper floors have balconies, they are all very nice, because the grounds are so well maintained, you cant go wrong with any room you get. The only difference in the rooms is that the suites have much larger bathrooms, and we were fine with the "gardenview room". The rooms are brightly decorated, with wicker baskets built into the wall (for drawers), a small closet with bamboo beads (as a doors, it is pretty neat), over the beds (we had a king size), they had a huge multi colored tapestry that hung on the wall, also woven area rugs (made out of straw or something like that), they rooms were quite nicely cooled, and a ceiling fan on top of AC. For food, they have the beach grill, which is open during the day into the evening, they also have Cassava Terrace, where there is a huge buffet for breakfast and dinner, then they have the restaurant you make reservations for (called Otaheite), where men need collared shirts and slacks and closed-toed shoes, women need skirts or dress pants, other than that restaurant, it is casual. I found that I packed way too much!! Make sure to also order the continental breakfast which you can have delievered to your room , so you can enjoy it on your balcony or patio! Any other ?'s please email, and have a great trip!!

Trailer trash like yourself doesn't belong at an AI. Or on this web site. That's why we price them out of your reach.
