Orient Bay or Grand Case?

Orient Bay or Grand Case?
This will be our first trip to St. Martin - going late March/early /April for a 35th anniversary trip
After some research, we've narrowed it down to staying in Grand Case ( Petit Hotel) or Orient Bay (La Playa Orient Bay). Both hotels seem quiet and on nice beaches , and walking distance to restaurants. Orient Beach seems to perhaps be more desirable, but Grand Case seems more central to other activities such as Loterie Farm, Friar's Bay, Happy Bay....We will probably have a car but would prefer not to drive more or longer than necessary. Can anyone help narrow this down, and has anyone stayed at either of the hotels I mentioned? Thank you!
