Resorts that offer private homes/villa
Hello - I am planning my husbands 40th birthday and am looking for a resort that offers private homes or villas that could accommodate 16-20 people. Would prefer an all inclusive package but not required.
Last year we went to Jumby Bay and stayed in one of those houses so would prefer to try something different than this resort.

You tagged your post with "Bahamas" - are those the only islands you are considering?
If willing to go to other islands in the Caribbean look at the following resorts that offer private homes or villas you can rent:
Four Seasons, Nevis
Palm Island, Grenadines
Casa De Campo, Dominican Republic
Four Seasons, Anguilla (Scheduled opening late Fall 2016)
Scrubs Island, BVI's

This looks fantastic.
We had a family vacation at The Buccaneer, staying in the oceanfront rooms, as we were 5 adults.
We loved it there. Not an AI, but a great breakfast buffet is included. There are restaurants on site, otherwise.
Not a huge place, but very nice.

PS. I've visited friends who live part-time at Casa de Campo, the Dominican Republic. It is very nice. Very large. Lots of options for activities; golf, especially.
They, and lots of homeowners there, use VRBO to rent their own town homes. Usually a housekeeper/cook comes with the rental. Not a bad deal!
