What's your definition of "plenty to do, not just beach stuff"?
Will you be happy with beaching it, snorkeling, scuba, hiking etc. Or do you need shopping, casinos clubs etc?
This will help us all to make suggestions.

if you have to log off suddenly because you boss walked in - are you sure you can afford to have a vacation in any of those places?

Anguilla is not an activity destination. Great for gourmet dining and sloughing on the beach.

of those you mention only Barbados has golf. from st. john you can ferry to st. thomas and then taxi to the golf course there = would take about 45 minutes with the ferry taxi combo. There are some lovely high end propertys on Barbados that are not quite as high end as Sandy Lane and there would be more things to do that are not beach and water oriented as the other choices are.

Have been to Barbados, we thought there was tons to see and do. In fact we want to go back because we didn't get to do it all the first time. Went to the underground caves, toured around the whole island in little jeep, went to an old fort they used in the pirate days, toured through Sam Lord's castle, went downtown. Had the most wonderful time!
