Although July is officially in hurricane season, it's relatively early and chances of you encountering a major storm during that time are very slim so just about any island in the Caribbean is open to you. Of course with the weather there are no guarantees - that's why they have trip insurance. Or you could do what the previous poster recommended and go to one of the ABC islands which ae=re out of the hurricane belt.

Grand Cayman. We think it's very safe and thought the people were real nice there, and oh that beautiful water!!

I agree with Sunnyboy. July is typically early in the season, although I will "never say never." In all honestly, you pretty much have an open area for just about any island during that time.
