10 Days in Europe Start in London

My wife and I are coming to Europe for 10 days in the middle of August and we have zero idea what our itinerary is or should be. We think we would like to see a little of England/Paris and then possibly some Italy, but is this advisable? Car or Train?

In 10 days you are best to stay with London ( England?) and Paris.
Italy ( as a third destination) would be too tight.

Visit London and Paris

Or

2-3 cities in Italy

but I would not advise trying to do both.

With ten days, seeing London and Paris will keep you fully occupied. They easily connect by train. Any more destinations and you will spend more time traveling than seeing the sights.

London/Paris or London/Amsterdam - travel by train.

I agree you don't have time for 2 cities plus Italy.

I agree that 10 days is getting pretty tight when you factor in the travel time between cities. If you choose London and Paris and still have some time left over you might daytrip out of those cities to Bath, the Cotswolds, Chartre, etc.

Hi M,

Fly into London, 4 nights, Eurostar to Paris, 5 nights, fly home.

Book an Open Jaw ticket - may be known as multi-cities so you arrive in London & depart from Paris

I have been to Luxembourg a few times and you can go through England via Brussels by car, or head around through Paris by Eurotrain. Both countries border it. I've never seen greener grass. Not sure if you like war history, but there is plenty of it. Patton is buried in the American Cemetary there. To the north is a very old castle and beatiful countryside leading you towards Germany. Or if you don't have time, you can loop back through Brussels.

Good Luck!
