Hi, you could do ten days in Prague without a problem. There is also a lot to do in the Czech Republic besides Prague, and it would be a shame for you not to get out of the city at least for a day or two while you are there.

even a day trip if thats all you want to spare
just catch an early train from the main station and you can be back on the 3pm or the 5 oclock
about three hours trip and you can nap if you like!

I think that ten days just about anywhere is a great idea. You'll have time to find favourite cafes, your children will find playmates in the park.
We're recently home after nine weeks in Venice over Christmas, and missing it horribly.
