100 Rumos airport transfer??

Has anyone every used an airport transfer compnay called 100 Rumos? Found their website somewhere & bookmarked it for future reference. They offer airport to hotel transfers in Porto & Lisbon. The website stats they have a desk at the airport. We are arriving in Porto after an overseas flight to Lisbon & immediately flying to Porto. Im not a big fan of taxis & like to have hotel transportation prearranged. I have used Suntransfers in other pars of Europe & was planning to book with them again.

I always take taxis. I find them reliable and mustn't wait for a shuttle or limo.
Each time I have taken a limo or shuttle I have kicked myself for waiting ages and or paying a fortune.

Esp after a long flight the last thing I want is to be tied.

I'm just a little wary of taxis. We have gotten ripped of a couple of times. One look at us & we scream "tourists $$$$". I guess I also like transportation prearranged so that I don't have to think. Once we get acclimated to a new city we are very comfortable with using public transportation. I agree with you about airport shuttles. They seem to take forever, making stops at various hotels. By that time I am beat & eager to get to our hotel. I have a few weeks before we go so will continue to look at options. Our B&B owners may have suggestions.

I have often asked my hotel to arrange transportation from the airport. They usually contact a driver who is known to them and really reliable. Because of the likelihood of repeat business from that hotel, the drivers have always gone the extra mile to give good service. They wait with a sign just outside baggage claim and charge about the same as a taxi.

Depending on arrival time, you can have that waiting time on the queue for the taxis, not for the transfers company (make sure it provides a private transfer, not shared).
