3 week turkey trip

Hi all. We are vaccinated Americans hoping to reschedule our last summer's Turkey trip to this summer. 2 parents and a 17 and 19 year old. June 19-July 10. We worked with an agent who specializes in Turkey and we are very excited and hopeful. My one question is our 3 nights in Cappadocia. We are currently with 2 rooms in the Kale Konak. I love everything I have read about this hotel but it does not have a pool. Will a pool be needed in late June? Many thanks for your help.

Only you can decide if a pool is “needed” but consider this. Did you really come 1/2 way around the world and to fabulous Cappadocia to lie by the pool?

It will certainly be warm enough for a pool and would be very enjoyable there to have a swim before dinner, but with three nights, it is likely you will have only two days or two and a half days depending on your flights. There is so much to do and see in this amazing area, you may be pressed for time. If they are flying in June, consider a hot air balloon flight.

we are all fully vaccinated. i figured our days in this area are jam packed with a hot air baloon ride, various hikes etc so did not think we would have time for pool time anyway. thanks

You don't need a pool but of course it's a nice luxury

We actually also loved going to a high viewpoint and watching all the balloons during sunrise in addition to doing the balloon ride itself.

And then rented a motorbike as there's some interesting areas around there. Enjoy!!!
