Ballroom Dancing in Paris
My wife and I will be in Paris in late May and would like to go dancing while we are there. We are looking for suggestions for clubs hospitable to 2 middle age Americans that are reasonably good dancers. I've checked out some clubs on the net and it looks like you have to be a celebrity or a super model to get in (we don't qualify on either count). Thanks in advance!

I don't know about clubs, but you may want to also check out the outdoor dancing by the Seine:

I posted a thread couple of weeks ago with free but different things to do...
For the last 10 years, a group of hard-core dancers have gathered on the Seine every evening from mid-May through September. They do the tango, salsa and rock-swing. Free lessons start at 7:30 p.m. (a hat for tips is passed), followed by dancing until midnight. It all happens at Square Tino Rossi at 9, quai St.-Bernard in front of the University of Paris at Jussieu just a few steps from the Cathedral of Notre-Dame (“Paris Danses en Seine,” tangoargentin-eric.site.voila.fr/page3.html).

Caveau de la Huchette on rue de la Huchette in the 5th. I visited there a few years ago as some friends were into swing dancing which was occuring on the night I went. Fun place and I believe it's primarily jazz music but you could check it out on the Internet. I'm pretty sure they had a cover charge which was not much. Definitely all ages.

Thanks for the post GKIger - I am interested in this topic as well. About dancing by the Seine - the posting says they start in mid-May. We will be there May 7-13; anyone know if they'll have started by then? I checked out the website but my French is poor.
