Best soft sand beaches, Ischia
In my researching today, I discovered that many of the sand beaches on Ischia aren't of the soft sand variety. I understand why, with the island's volcanic past. But I'm wondering if there are any soft sand beaches on the island at all. I'd really appreciate any information y'all might have.
Thanks so much,
Annie

This blog suggests that the beaches of Citara and Maronti have soft sand.

I've never been to either, so I can't verify it.

bvlenci, thanks so much for posting. I've seen online that Maronti, while gorgeous, has a sand beach that's been described as slightly gritty, which makes sense because of the volcanic nature of the island. It's not the soft sand I'm looking for, although at least it's not pebbles! I'll look into Citara.
