Brugge & Brussels Hotels

Expect to be staying a couple of nights in each place.

Looking for hotels in the just under 200E range including breakfast, A/C, etc

Considering Prinsenhof in Brugge and Best Western Premiew Carrefour in Brussels.

In Brussels I seem to see two popular areas; Grand Place and Ave Louise. Any comments?

Any comments or additional suggestions. Location?

Thanks.

Hi.

Brugge: www.pandhotel.com Luxurious, reasonable rates, PERFECT location.

Brussels: www.hotelwelcome.com Charming, different, also perfect location.

You're welcome.

I suggest you consider the Hotel Adornes in Bruges. It is lovely, very quaint. A first rate staff and an excellent breakfast made this a super choice for our party of six.

I stayed at the Hotel Prinsenhof in May. It was lovely, a most wonderful stay. I had a single room, probably the least expensive in the hotel, and it was charming. The bathroom was new, big, and spotless. The staff was friendly, helpful, accommodating. It was the perfect place to recover from jetlag!

We stayed in Prinsenhof 3 years ago and it was perfect. We stayed in a beuatiful superior room (a kind of attic).
I strongly reccommend this hotel.

For Brussels, consider Le Dixseptieme.

http://www.ledixseptieme.be/main.html

5 minutes walk to train station, and 5 minutes (or less) to Grand Place.

We stayed in Prinsenhof in 2000 and it was wonderful. I suspect we had same room as Alex2, as it was a superior and was on top floor. All was brand new and the bathroom was large and very well equipped. The breakfast (included in rate) was first rate and the couple that own the hotel are extremely nice. Location is also good, and if you are driving they even have a small car park free of charge right behind the hotel. All in all, one of the best small hotels we have used in our trips to Europe.
