Car rental: Marseille, Fr airport
Hi, We usually book the economy choice and upgrade at the airport here in the US. Is that wise for late August? We are renting a car for 2 weeks and would like a nicer car. Would Hertz/Enterprise be good choices for this?

I am renting a car for pickup at MRS in August. As far as upgrading,you could inquire with your rental company how difficult that would be.
I used Auto Europe because they seemed to have the best price after having checked many agencies. They supplied me a car with Hertz.
I also had a choice through them with many companies. I picked Hertz because I wanted a no deductible rental.
Based on my experience, I would not wait to finalize an agreement much longer. I noticed that the prices seem to have gone up significantly since I rented. There are only two of us. I chose a compact.
