Carnaval near Lisbon

We are going to be in Lisbon from February 10 to 13. Is it worthwhile going to the Carnaval celebration in Loures? If so, any suggestions about how to get there (we'll be staying in the Alfama district) and which event(s) to target?

Looking at that I doubt I'd go, but I don't enjoy crowds or slapstick. YMMV.

According to Rome2Rio you can take the metro or a taxi, but I suppose there might be special transport for a festival.

Hi,

Best ones:

Sesimbra carnival, brazilian style carnival with samba right next to the beach
Torres Vedras Carnival, traditional Portuguese carnival

Lourdes Carnival not worth it.
