CDG to Chatel Censoir

First time to France.
What would be the easiest way for 6 adults to get from CDG airport to Chatel Censoir in Burgundy. After a long flight, prefer not to rent a car. I have checked the TGV site, but doesn'nt appear to go into that area. What train would go to Auxerre, which seems to be the closest large town. And also is there a train station near or in the cdg airport...
ALSO..considering hiring car to take us directly there... any suggestions on car company sites that offer good pricing.. so far have only gotten one fairly reasonable fair..350+euros.
thanks so much...

The TGV does go south down through Burgundy. There is a TGV stop at Laroche Migennes which I imagine would be the closest site for you and perhaps more convenient than going to Auxerre as you should be able to get on that TGV at CDG. Migennes is just a little north of Auxerre.

There is a train to Auxerre but not from CDG. YOu have to go into Paris and get it at Paris Bercy rail station.

Thanks Christina
I agree, sounds like it would be easiest to take the TGV right out of CDG rather than going into Paris... would there be local trains from Migennes to Chatel Censoir?

yes, there are some local trains and they take about an hour and cost 8 euro.

You may have to wait a bit, depending when you get there, as they are not that frequent, it appears. In the weekday afternoon, there are now two, one around 2 pm and one at 4 pm. YOu can check schedules by date on www.sncf.com For CDG, I think you have to put in "aeroport CDG" or something like that.
