Hi dublindweller -
Yesterday I booked and paid for 2 flights from Dublin to Paris on Aerlingus.
They offered a 10euro discount on a 14.50euro ticket (not incl.airport taxes which were about 30something euros.) Then they asked if we had bags - each one costing 20euros. I hope they are talking about suitcases, not camera bags! When I finished with that part of the booking I was asked if I would like to choose my seat. Well, why not seeing they have taken the trouble to show the inside of the aircraft! Boy, another 7oddeuros!
But I must admit their Flexi-Fare was a hell of a lot more expensive!

I was looking into Dublin to Paris on aerlingus a month ago...and wondered about extra costs on the cheap flights...looks like there are. We ended up getting a flight booked from Chicago through to Paris on Aerlingus and it was still cheaper than any other flight. On the way back we are staying for 3 days in Dublin before heading back to Chicago.
