Here are some recent pictures we took in the Loire area in late Sept. 04 and also some pictures in Paris.

Eric, great photos! Among others, my favorite is River Vallee2.

I have never been to Chinon but enjoyed a great bottle of Chinon recently.

Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. We spent a week near Chinon a few years ago (also in September) and really enjoyed it. It looks like you visited many of the same places we did.

Oh my God! Eric, your pictures of France are simply gorgeous!!! (I think I have to move...)

Please share your thoughts and/or trip report about CHINON. I am considering a daytrip from Paris this June. I have heard many positive comments about CHINON on this website, but would like some more descriptions.

Cheers,
Betty

Eric, your pictures are beautiful! They brought back fond memories of my wonderful trip to the Loire Valley 2 years ago. I spent 10 days driving all around,(stayed in Amboise, Chinon and Saumur) and really loved it. I didn't have a camera, so your pictures of all those places I saw really were special for me. Thanks for sharing!

Such great pictures! Thank you for sharing them. But, oh no, not ANOTHER place in France I will have to visit. The list keeps growing and growing...

Thanks again--they're fantastic.

Thanks for the comments.

We are planning a trip to Corsica in Sept. I'm checking into driving from CDG so we can go over the new Millan bridge. Also I can't decide if we want to take the ferry from Nice, Toulon or Corsica.

Has anyone been to Corsica????? What did you think?

Thanks for any info.
