Croatia trip 10 days
Hi all.
Early days but looking at planning a trip to Croatia next July (2018) its likely to be for 10 days. Id like to incorporate Split, hvar and dubrovnik. Was just going to do the first 2 but my boyfriend is game of thrones obsessed and really wants to do dubrovnik. So is it realistic to cover those places in that time frame? What is the logical order? I want to do the caves trip near hvar but have read you can do these straight from split? Is hvar worth a couple of nights stay? Any help would be great!! Thank you

It depends on what you want to see and do, but as a rule, I would think that you should be able to visit Split, Hvar, and Dubrovnik in 10 days. You can fly into Dubrovnik, ferry to Hvar, ferry to Split, and fly out of Split. Or vice versa. Or bus between Dubrovnik and Split, with a ferry to and from Hvar from Split. Look at rome2rio.com to identify your options.
Whether Hvar is “worth a couple of nights stay” depends on you. Some people want a week there; some find a few hours sufficient.
Do you have a good guidebook? I strongly recommend that you get one, perhaps the Rough Guide.

Don't miss a day trip to magical Plitvice lakes national park. The cascading waterfalls are unique and are only in Croatia and nowhere else.
You may get similar party islands elsewhere but not Plitvice.
Zagreb also deserves a day or 2.
