deseperately searching wall calendar of prague
Having returned from Prague 4 weeks ago, there are many times in which I say, I should have bought...... Now I'm looking all over web sites for a wall calendar, 2006, with pictures of Prague. I'd especially like black and white photos. We fell in love with the city, and I want a calendar to help remind me of how enchanting it was. Does anyone have a notion of how I can find and purchase such a calendar? Thanks.

Hey Travelnut, you're the best. You locted the perfect calendar. BUT, that perfect calendar is unavailable. I should add that I live in the US. I tried googling myself, but could not find what I wanted. I would buy the one you found in a second, if it was available SOMEWHERE.

Hi Soxgirl ....
Just a few thoughts re Prague calendar. Suggest you contact the Czech Club in your nearest major city (or the consulate office) for their thoughts; also re-enter your message on E-Bay, friends have had success with unusual subjects.
Good hunting ... Jay
ps - do reply via this thread on any success!!

Here's one: http://www.cafepress.com/buy/Prague/...___F/c_0/hlv_t
You can also make your own. You can post 12 of your photos in a photo sharing website like Kodak Gallery or similar and then order a clandar made from your photos. You can probably do the same just ordering from a camera shop where you get your fild developed.

To All, I followed all advice, including 20 pages of Sormani calendars where I saw that Akita was more than the name of a nuisance dog in Rent, and thank you. Travelnut, I was about to hit the "buy" on the calendar you ferreted out when my husband said, don't you want to save some money and make our own? So-either I'll buy the one on Amazon or we'll take 12 of our 423 pics down to OfficeMax and create one. You're the best.

Decided to go with my Mucha calendar, which I'd already purchased. Husband surprised me yesterday with self-made Prague calendar for me. So-all your suggestions were followed.
Luisah, hi! Boy did I fall in love with the city. We couldn't leave. Spent the entire week there dashing idle plans to go to Dresden, Kutna Hora, etc. EAch day we stayed, we found yet another part of the city we fell in love with: Loreta, Strahov Library, Obecni Dum, Letna-some of which we fell upon quite by accident. My favorite meal-the very smokey, vegetarian Radost FX at the I P Pavlova stop on #23 . Our hotel was ideal, The Constans, in Lesser Town. Location allowed us to walk 5-6 hours every day. Oh yes-and Ebbel Coffee-a lifesaver to coffee addicts like us. One of these days maybe I'll post the trip?
