When I was in Lisbon in November I was referred to Senhor Vinho's from a friend who has family in Lisbon. My hotel confirmed that this was an excellent choice. Although it wasn't near any public transportation, it's still in Lisbon central and it was easy enough to arrange for a cab to get there. At the end of the evening the maitre d' at Senhor Vinho's called a cab for me (and other guests). I don't have the details on me, but I know that the information on this place is readily available on the internet: just type in Senhor Vinho's. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Parreirinha de Alfama, in Alfama of course, near by the Tagus. tel: 218868209. Book in advance, because the place is tiny and usually overbooks. Ask your hotel staff to book for you.
To take the most benefit of it, arrive by 8 p.m. and leave by 11 p.m. Ask the staff to ask a taxi for you.
You may combine a dinner as a late stage of a afternoon wandering through the narrow streets of Alfama and Castle districts and/or a visit to Museum of fado, which is the next door of Parreirinha.
