Family hotel in Florence, Italy

We need a hotel that has a room for 4 people (2 adults & 2 children) close to the city center. We are going in March 2005. If possible we would like to find a moderate hotel, 150 Euro or less.

Thank you for any guidance!

I do not think we are as reasonably priced as you would like, but we are staying at Relais Uffizi and could get a suite for our family of 5 in a great location. HAve not yet arrived, but have seen great reviews. It is tough to get a room for a family!

We stayed in the Family Suite at The Grand Hotel Minerva. Nice Hotel next to Santa Maria Novella. It may be a little more $$ than you are budgeting but worth a look.

We stayed at Albergo La Scaletta last year and liked it. Check their Web Page.

We stayed at the Il Perseo a couple of years ago and thought it was great. We were three people but had a room with a double and two singles. It is a basic one star hotel but very clean and has everything you need, including breakfast and internet. The location can't be beaten. Have a look at the web site. http://www.venere.it/firenze/perseo/

We tried to get a room here for our trip this past April, but they were fully booked, so book early.

Good luck

We stayed at the Hotel Alessandra last May in a quad. It was very nice, great breakfast too. The price was about 200 euros a night though, so that may be more than you want to pay. We had a great window view of the river too.
