Has anyone ever used these APARTMENT RENTAL agencies in ITALY (Florrence)????

I am looking at properties on websites to rent in Florence. Has anyone used florence-accomodation.net, Palazzo Belfiore or rome sweet home?

PLEASE give me some feedback

Haven't rented through any of these, but I came across a few negative reviews of romesweetrome that put me off them enough not to use them.

If you type each name (without punctuation) into the text box at the top of this page, you will usually find some prior threads. "rome sweet home" - 9 threads; here's the most recent:

I do not see anything for the others you're asking about, but another great resource is the slowtrav.com site. It has lots of feedback re many rental agencies, as well as for specific properties.

For other recommended agencies, you can try a text search here for "florence AND apartment".

A few years ago, I used this site to find an apartment rental in Florence and had a good experience:

Just returned from Italy and rented from Gianna Galeota at the following website:

http://www.alleuropeaccommodation.com/italy/sanlorenzo/

She has several apartments in various sizes and price ranges. It was perfect for us. Great location, newly renovated building, as well as affordable. We were very pleased.

Good luck, and let us know what you decide.

We just returned from 3 weeks in Germany and Italy. I have no idea how I came upon the B&B Borgo Ponte dell'Asse in Scandicci, just about 15km outside Florence. However, I'm glad we did somehow "link" up. We had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment that slept the 5 of us very comfortably. It's not in downtown Florence, but well worth the drive. You can contact the owner at [email protected]

Good luck!

Janster:

I used www.drawbridgetoeurope.com for an apt in Paris and was very satisfied with the apt and services provided. I believe they also have apts in Florence.
