Help with travel from Dubrovnik to Hvar, Korcula, Split!

Hello!

I am traveling to Croatia in mid-September and was wondering if anyone had specific information about ferries between Dubrovnik, Hvar, Korcula, and Split.

I'd ideally like to go directly from Dubrovnikt to Korcula/Hvar and then to Split (and then from Split back to Dubrovnik).

Is this possible? Do the ferries only run on certain days?

Thanks for the help!

I'd suggest that if you have taken ferries from Dub/Korcula/Hvar/Split, that you might make better use of your time, and see some spectacular scenery, by taking the bus from Split back to Dubrovnik. That way you would be doing a loop that would give you both some water time, as well as seeing the marvelous views from that highway.

The buses are modern, clean, and cheap.

You will love Croatia!

Ferry timetables are on www.jadrolinija.hr and www.krilo.hr. If you have any problems with Jadrolinija's web site, the timetable is also on their UK agents' web site, www.viamare.com.

Thanks so much for the help!

Also, I've heard a couple posts mention a lot of construction on the road between Split and Dubrovnik - does anyone returning from a recent trip have new information? Thanks!

We just drove from Drevnik to Dubrovnik and there was a lot of construction on that part of the journey. There were a number of long waits and we estimated that this added an extra 45 minutes to our drive. Having said that, the drive was still very beautiful and we weren't in a hurry.

For your information, all construction must stop during the high tourist season (July and August). This is a Croatian Law with absolutely no exceptions!

While I am THRILLED for those of you going in July/August, I am a little worried about this construction in September (which is when I plan to go) Reports are welcome!

I appreicated reading hat's postings since I read on another post that it could take several HOURS longer. An hour or two is one thing, four is a whole new ballpark!

It took us all day, on the ferry, to
go from Dubrovnik to Split.
